County of Glenn Public Meeting Protocol in Response to Coronavirus COVID-19

California Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-25-20 on March 12, 2020, relating to the convening of public meetings in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The County of Glenn hereby provides notice that it will continue to convene its regularly scheduled public meetings of the Board of Supervisors, as provided in the publicly posted agenda notice. Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order, and to maintain the orderly conduct of the meeting, the County of Glenn will allow Supervisors of the Board to attend the meeting telephonically and to participate in the meeting to the same extent as if they were present.
Based on guidance from the California Department of Public Health and the California Governor’s Officer, in order to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, please do the following:
- You are strongly encouraged to listen to the live audio stream of the Board of Supervisors meetings at https://archive.countyofglenn.net/government/minutes-agendas.
- If you wish to make a comment on a specific agenda item, please submit your comment via email by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the Board meeting. Please submit your comment to the Clerk of the Board at gcboard@countyofglenn.net. Your comment will be placed into the record at the Board meeting.
- If you are listening to the audio live stream of the Board meeting and wish to make either a general public comment or to comment on a specific agenda item as it is being heard, please submit your comment, limited to 250 words or less, to the Clerk of the Board at gcboard@countyofglenn.net. Every effort will be made to read your comment into the record, but some comments may not be read due to time limitations. Comments received after an agenda item will be made part of the record if received prior to the end of the meeting.
To submit written comments by U.S. Mail or email for inclusion in the meeting record, they must be received by the County Clerk no later than 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the noticed meeting. To submit written comments by email, please forward them to gcboard@countyofglenn.net
