In the Housing and Code Enforcement program we are responsible for insuring housing is maintained in a healthy and sanitary manner and that detention facilities, day camps and organized camps are maintained and operated in a safe and sanitary manner.

We carry out this responsibility by investigating and responding to alleged complaints and violations. In addition, we conduct annual inspections of detention facilities, day camps and organized camps.

The quality of our housing is a significant determinant of health, affecting the physical, social and mental well-being of each resident.
