Business Services

Drug & Alcohol
For community members who suffer from the effects of chemical abuse and dependency we provide support and assistance. Services offered include education, assessment, outpatient treatment, Drug Court, co-occurring disorder services, and women’s perinatal outpatient treatment. Programs serve teens, adults, perinatal, and criminal justice populations in Glenn County.

If you need help with a job search, writing a resume, or learning the skills to get ready for a job interview, or are looking for a job, then the HHSA’s Employment Services can help!
Environmental Health
The goal of the Glenn County Environmental Health Department is to preserve the environment and protect the health and safety of the citizens of Glenn County. We strive to accomplish these goals through public outreach, education, collaborative planning and sensible applications of environmental health principles, laws and statutes.
Housing & Energy Assistance
Offers many forms of aid with housing repairs and improvements to people who live in Colusa, Glenn or Trinity Counties. Services may include Section 8 housing assistance, help with making your home more energy efficient, and help with payments on your utility bills. Check it out!
In-Home Supportive Services
If you are over 65 or a disabled adult, and want / need assistance with housekeeping, shopping or errands, or personal care you may be able to use the In-Home Supportive Services Program. (IHSS)
Mental Health
Offers a full-range of mental health services for Glenn County residents. Services include assessment, case management, 24/7 crisis intervention, counseling, and psychiatric services. We also operate a drop in wellness center, Harmony House, with services that include shower and laundry, and fun activities for adults.
Public Assistance/Cash Aid
Many forms of public assistance and/or cash aid may be available if you are eligible. Public Assistance includes cash aid/general assistance, CalFresh, Medi-Cal and County medical assistance, CalWORKs/Temporary Aid for Needy Families and homeless assistance.
Public Authority
The Glenn County Public Authority works with Glenn County residents who want to become In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) providers/caregivers.
Public Health
Protect and promote health and wellness in Glenn County through services which include Immunizations, Communicable Disease, Tobacco Education, Maternal Child Adolescent Health, Child Health and Disability Prevention, information and referral, and more.
WIC, the Women, Infants & Children Nutrition Program
The health of pregnant women, infants and young children is important to the future health of children. WIC provides checks to buy healthy foods, nutrition and health education to help you and your family eat well and be active, support and information about breastfeeding your baby, health care and other community referrals.
